Static Line Conversion
If
you completed a 10 second delay or more on the Static Line
system we can convert you to our AFF course and you can skip
level 1 AND 2 and start at AFF level 3. Many people start
out on the static line system only to become frustrated with
their progress. Are you limited by weather? Do
you need some guidance in freefall? Would
you like to accelerate your learning?
|
Do
I skip levels on the AFF program due to my static line experience?
Yes,
you will still undertake a ground school with your personal
AFF instructor, but due to your existing experience and previous
training this will be more concise. You will then proceed straight
to level 3, which is recognised internationally as the convergence
of the two systems. |

 |
Why is the AFF Program more suitable for me than continuation of the Static Line Course?
The AFF system gives
you the opportunity to qualify as a solo parachutist in a shorter
time period and as we are based in southern Spain, with some of the best year round weather for skydiving, you can be qualified in 2 days following your conversion from Static Line.
In addition, the Static Line Course is ideal for countries with unpredictable weather as you jump from a lower altitude. In Spain, becasue we are able to take advantage of the reliable weather, we jump from 15,000ft every jump (excluding Level 8 to simulate an aircraft emergency). |
Will
my training be recognised?
There
is specific provision in the manuals of the British Parachute
Association and United States Parachute Association for the
transfer from one course to the other. You must have completed
a 10 second delay to transfer. Once you have moved over to
the AFF system, you will not go back to the static line system. |
 |
 |
What
discount do I get of the Free Fall Addicts AFF Course?
You
will save 300 euros in the transfer as you will not have had
to complete AFF Levels one or two and will proceed straight
to level three. If you are unsure if you qualify please contact
us for more details. |
